the clothing that i would want my artist to wear would be basic and casual clothes such as just a shirt and jeans. the song is an acoustic genre, and those type of artist are not known to be wearing baggy clothes like the hip-hop and rap artist wear. he would also be wearing accessories such as a necklace or wristband because most most folk artist tend to wear accessories like sunglasses. the type of song that he does is a country genre and some country artist are known to wear bottom up shirt and hats. the guitar was played throughout the song and the first thing you would hear would be the guitar so i thought that the artist could be carrying a guitar with him. the jeans that he would wear would be a blue jeans and the buttoned up shirt would white and he could also wear a thin black tie.

the logo for the artist would be colourful, bold, outlined and with designs. the fonts that i will have to make will need to be easy to read and clear at any size so logo can not have too many designs on it because the audience might not be able to notice the name. i also have to consider in if it would be formal or informal because that would change the age group in which the logo is directed at but it could also bring in some more audience. having an deep, bold and black outline of each individual letters increases and improves the logo even if there is a variety of colours and designs in the background because the audience will see the logo and will be concentrated to it because of the outline.

the place that i would want to film it would be in a bright place with nature and with a calm environment. when i listen to the song, i think of it as a journey so the actor could also be walking down a road and i got the idea from the song "Cinder crackles from the rock bed, As splinters burrow in a hasty step" which gives image in the audiences’ mind of someone walking in a rocky surface and the sound that the rocks make as you are walking. the song is a
Acoustic, Folk genre song and the typical acoustic music video always has a guitar in a part of the music video so i thought of having a guitar that the actor would carry around and it will also help to narrate the lyrics into the video. the reason why i also have a photo of a phone because the song is about the past and in the music video, the actor could have problems with someone on the phone.

i would use a mixture of colours from light to dark because there are some aspects of the song that is happy and others that is sad so the colour could enhance and define my artist. the colour also depend on the genre because each genre has their own primary colour, for example, pop would have bright colours such as Blue, green, purple, turquoise and silver which stands out from the rest and from one another. the colours that i would use will be warm and natural colours because it will go with the mood of the song and also, it will go with the genre of the music. the colours will make a big change to the music video becasue it changes the mood and the atmosphare.

when listening to the song, a story of a young man always comes up to mind, the song gives out a feeling and image of a journey but the main that comes up to mind is a relationship and how the relationship is fine but then takes a step backwards. this could relate to the song because it starts off nice and sweet but then turns sad and sympathetic. as i have shown, there are pictures of a couple but then a lonely bench and a person being lonely. the images that the song evokes is a boy in a relationship but then as the song goes on, it gives an image of loneliness and sadness.
