I have contributes in the location reccies and i am doing the risk assessment with help from my partners. I have taken some photos of the locations that we will film in and writing the hazards and how to control it. As i am the camera man, i have contributed in the types of shots there will be and also gathering more ideas of what could be done in the park. Also, i have sent an email to Westfield asking for permission if we could film in their mall.
How does this fit in with the production schedule/ job roles/ overall ideas of the project?
We were told to spread the work so that each individual would have an equal amount of work and it wouldn't be one person doing most of the work. There are some work in which we have to work together such as the schedule because we needed to know when we all would be free and the ideal time for filming. We also need to know when the casts will be free because they all could be free at different times which would become an issue.
Were there any problems? How did you/ will you overcome them?
There are some slight problems with finding the right actors because some people are not free on the half term. The other problem that might occur is last minute changes, for example, some of the cast might not be free on the day of filming and also, some parents might not know of the production scheduled. We overcame this by making it clear to everyone when we are free to film.
What are your plans for the following week?
My plans for the following weeks are to make a list of hazards and how to control it and also visit the locations to get some ideas of what i could do for some shots. I also have to finish my part of the shooting script that should be finished by Friday.
